Chronic diseases like cardiovascular disease, hypertension and diabetes mellitus have become a major cause of global morbidity and mortality. In India, the projected number of deaths due to chronic diseases is expected to be 7.63 million by 2020. With the rising prevalence of these diseases in India, the CKD burden is increasing rapidly. Medical intervention from the onset and/or diagnosis of chronic kidney disease may facilitate retardation of progression to renal failure and improve a patient's quality of life.

Darrhon has been set up with an objective and purpose of providing products/therapies to fulfill the unmet needs in the management of various ailments of Kidney and Transplant.
